D.E.M. (Discipleship, Equip & Multiply)

 JANUARY–MAY

D.E.M. is a three-year program (Parts I, II, III—one session per year) designed to equip and instill an internal passion to live a life of deliberate discipleship and to teach others to live lives conformed to the image of our Lord Jesus Christ.

D.E.M. I

D.E.M. I is a 20-week course for men and women that could forever change the way you look at the world. This course's main purpose is to develop ministry leaders. During our time together, we survey all of the Old and New Testament books, explore Bible study methods, study and discuss doctrine, and work on communication skills.

At the end of the 20 weeks, D.E.M. members take a missions trip together to put their new skills to work—usually in mid-June. For many former D.E.M. students, this is an absolutely life- changing trip—one they will never forget.

D.E.M. II

D.E.M. II is a high-commitment 20-week training program for men and women, designed to challenge members who are currently serving in ministry at DBC. Through the study of Scripture, each person should consider their gifts and the opportunities to fulfil them.

D.E.M. III

The purpose of D.E.M. III is to teach believers how to live out core spiritual disciplines by imitating Christ. Once spiritual disciplines are incorporated into a
daily walk, graduates can truly say, "Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ," (1 Corinthians 11:1 NASB).
