Men's Ministry

The purpose of the Men's Ministry is to pursue the issues of a man's heart; equipping men for their roles and responsibilities in the homes, churches, in their workplace and in the community. These roles and responsibilities must be shaped by Biblically-based teaching, reinforced by interpersonal transparency, and encouraged by mutual accountability.

Our discipleship priorities:

   • A Man and His Personal Life—Essentials for Personal Discipleship
   • A Man and His Marriage
   • A Man and His Family
   • A Man and His Church
   • A Man and His Work

Mentoring Program

Who is your Paul?  Who is your Timothy?

What if we as men could mentor/come along side another man, build him up, encourage him and disciple him in Christ Jesus. What if we as men had another man that we can go to to get advice, talk to, learn from, be accountable to? The bible has modeled these relationships for us: Moses and Jethro, Moses and Joshua, David and Jonathon, Elisha and Elijah, Paul and Timothy, Paul and Silas, Jesus and Peter, Peter and Barnabas.  At DBC we believe that men who are in Christ Jesus should also model these relationships in their life.
