Crossroads Overview

CROSS ROADS BIBLE FELLOWSHIP
Join us Sunday mornings in the conference room at 9am for some some prayer, testimonies, singing, teaching and fellowship time. In this comfortable, yet challenging atmosphere, our Young Adults group strives to be flipped insideOUT. What does this theme mean for you and your spouse? Come and find out how we desire to worship the Sovereign Lord in spirit and truth. Also, take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to establish friends who are experiencing similar life-stages and events. |
SMALL DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS
These are men's and women's groups that meet throughout the week to study God's Word. So it's "just the guys" or "just the girls". In these small groups, members study the process of being and making disciples, pray for each other, and encourage one another to grow in their relationships with Christ. |
SUPPER CLUB
Every month, group of individuals seeks to gather together for food and fellowship at various homes. Nothing but good times! |
SERVICE PROJECTS
Throughout the year, our group determines the needs within our community and decides where we would like to invest our time and resources. Once a year, we get creative and dress up in costume to help out DBC through the Trunk or Treat ministry. Also, throughout the year, the Young Adults looks to serve Kaitlyn’s Kids (a ministry to the refugee children in the local area), as well as help serve at a local Apartment Life’s social functions. |
RETREATS AND SOCIAL GATHERINGS
Every so often, we schedule a weekend for the Young Adults to refresh their relationship with Lord through a camping experience. We also get together as often as we can find an occassion, including Super Bowl parties, Texas Rangers ballgames, pool parties, restaurant nights, "Around-the-World" ping pong (table-tennis) tournaments, and hanging out with DBC friends. |
